Zunuo Hospital has launched a month-long healthcare outreach program to commemorate its ninth anniversary with a series of free medical services aimed at supporting residents within Techiman and surrounding communities.
The anniversary outreach, which runs from June 1 to June 30, 2026, is being held under the theme “Giving Back to Society” and seeks to improve access to healthcare services, particularly for vulnerable persons and low-income families.
As part of the initiative, the hospital is offering free National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) registration and renewal services to members of the public throughout the anniversary period.
Residents are also benefiting from free diabetes screening, hepatitis B screening and vaccination, family planning services, pregnancy scans, delivery services and dental screening and treatment.
According to management of the facility, all pregnancy scan services under the outreach include every type of scan required for expectant mothers, while delivery services are being provided with or without NHIS coverage.
The hospital further indicated that family planning services under the programme are available to clients regardless of whether they possess active NHIS cards.
The anniversary healthcare outreach also places special emphasis on maternal healthcare, antenatal care and pregnancy education as part of efforts to improve maternal and child health outcomes within the municipality.
Promotional materials released by the hospital highlighted services including antenatal care support, pregnancy school and screening sessions, quality dental care and emergency healthcare delivery services with trained medical personnel.
Chief Executive Officer of Zunuo Hospital, Techiman, Mr. Zingvilaa Emmanuel, reaffirmed the hospital’s commitment to accessible and quality healthcare delivery, stressing that the outreach forms part of the institution’s broader social responsibility efforts.
The facility noted that the outreach is intended not only to celebrate the hospital’s achievements over the past nine years, but also to appreciate the support of the community through direct healthcare interventions.
Located at Abrefi Estates on the Grotto Road in Techiman, Zunuo Hospital has over the years expanded its healthcare services within the Bono East Region and continues to position itself as one of the growing private healthcare providers in the area.
